Friends of Inkululeko (FOI) is a group of global volunteers with a shared passion and drive to create transformational change in the world. FOI volunteers have a deep interest in Inkululeko’s mission and work, want to help the organization grow, and seek to contribute consistently and reliably.

FOI volunteers are encouraged to help build and lead new initiatives through their voice, skill, and knowledge. Being an FOI volunteer means having the opportunity to make a difference in the life of young motivated students in Makhanda.

FOI volunteers represent a diversity of talent in the fields of digital graphics, organizational management, fundraising, accounting, public speaking, event planning, and many more. All talents are needed and welcomed!

FOI formed in 2019 as a hub of volunteers designed to create more organizational awareness and serve more Makhanda students. To date, FOI has helped organize fundraising events in New York City, a monthly newsletter, and are actively seeking sponsorship partnerships. FOI is committed to strengthening these initiatives and is actively exploring new ideas.

If you, or someone you know, has the desire to create transformational change, wants to share ideas, and has interest in becoming involved with Friends of Inkululeko, please reach out to Taylor Battle (Taylor.Battle@inkululeko.org) or Keith Davis (Keith.Davis@inkululeko.org).
